Gpe Calendar And Weddav
« on: March 29, 2006, 11:37:34 am »
GPE seems to be working really nicely here with OZ 3.5.4 on my Zaurus collie.  I am using Sunbird Calendar (windows) at my office and the calendar extension in Thunderbird (Mepis Linux) at home.  I have access to a server that supports webdav and save the calendar there from both locations so I have an up to date version of my calendar that I can read and edit from work or at home.

What I am wondering is whether there is a way to access the same calendar using GPE Calendar.  Will it support loading and editiing a remote file in this way?   It doesn't look like there is a way to do it but I thought I would ask here in case anyone knows a way.

I don't know about loading and editing a remote calendar, but gpe-calendar is supposed to handle the import of iCal files (which can be created from Sunbird via export).  But...  I've yet to figure out how to import iCal files.  Has anyone successfully imported into gpe-calendar?  How?  I'm willing to write sqlite code if I have to (I think that's the db it uses).
