Usb Mass Storage On Oz 3.5.4.x

Has anyone had any success with getting USB mass storage devices working under OZ 3.5.4.x?
If so, what please let me know what steps you took.
What kernel modules did you install?
Dmesg see's my externally powered, USB HDD but have have no /dev/sdaX to mount it with.
It worked under pdaXrom.

The sda and sda1 devices now show up in /dev/ and when I do this:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media/usbhdd
...I can now access my USB hdd but now /dev/mmcblk0p1 has disapeared and my SD card won't mount.

Am I doing something wrong?

For one, your usb-storage device should now auto-mount as /media/sda1. Also there were no changes in udev which should affect /dev/mmc*. Tried rebooting?

Yes, I tried rebooting.
I noticed that there is a folder called packages in my /media/card folder even when my card is not inserted. Perhaps I messed something up.

If I mount my card in /mnt/temp (I created temp) I can see my card fine.

My SD card is setup with a 900MB ext2 and a 100MB swap

I think I'm going to reflash tnite and see how everyting pans out. I've been mucking around alot this last week and may have messed several things up.

...and you're right, it is auto mounting.
