Gp2xbob Pdaxrom

Sashz!

I know you've already ported to the pdaxrom to the PS2, how about doing the same for the GP2X?

http://www.gp2x.com/

The GP2X is quite similiar to a Z really- 200Mhz ARM cpu (can overclock to 250 reliably), 64MB RAM, SD slot, a graphics co-processor (also 200Mhz) but to make it useable with pdaxrom you'd need to get one of these

http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=27289

The breakout box gives you s-video output (I'm presuming you could get 640x480 out of that?) 3 USB ports, audio outputs and a serial port for $50! Obviously the USB ports could be used for keyboard, mouse, ethernet/wlan adapter, optical drive etc. bringing us all a new, cheap portable Linux box! I definately buy both in a snap if pdaxrom got ported! I personally would like to see a composite video out and another USB port added to it- composite being what I wanted from the normal TV out cable originally.

I suppose a custom X11 driver would have to be wrote to get the most out of the gp2x though would it?

What do you think sashz?
