The Z can't even run GBA games at a playable speed. I woundn't hold my breath for a DS emulator.

I always considered that wierd, wouldnt a kqemu type thing be the way to go considering that they are am chips *i belive thay are in the same family)

thinking this over, qemu would be the way to go for somthing like this as it has proven to me at least to be flexible enog to do some wierd things (driver development for hardware that dosent exsist (look up the hardware ROT3 "lovey rusty" crpyto pci card) and the ability to allom non native bainaries to run (eg run arm binaries on a x86)

This is due to the emulator not being built directly for our Z's... Most emulators are just x86 copies hacked to just "run" and rely on CPU/Memory speed for usability...

DS runs on

arm9 - 66mhz Main Screen
arm7 - 33mhz Secondary Screen

But it runs so we because the OS and games are built directly for the hardware...

Thanks to zodttd we will have a (just about, if not completely) built from scratch psx emulator for everyones pleasure!
