Overclock Locks C1000 After Running Z Emu
« on: July 29, 2006, 12:32:43 pm »
I use Cacko 1.23 and Z Emu Frontend Ex to play Neogeo and Genesis games on my C1000. And I need overclock to give me full speed. After playing some games I would change the clock speed back to normal to save power and let the CPU "have a rest". But when I want to overclock again, the Z will hang. I can only restore it by removing the battery and reboot it all over again.

It may have nothing to do with the Z Emu. I just wonder if some related operations will cause the overclock to fail and lock the system. BTW, I'm using the new Sharp SD driver and a 2G SANDisk SD card formatted to EXT3. It seemed I had less overclock lock ups problems when I used the Cacko 1.23 builtin SD driver and my Lexar 1G SD card.

Does anyone have this problem?
