Which Gui To Choose?
« on: June 23, 2006, 05:56:19 pm »
I know it's a tipical newby question but its' true, I'm a newby on this.

I got my zaurus wit sharp's original OS two monts ago and a compact flash just this week. I've been prety buisy this last days flashing around from OPIE and GPE back and foward.

So far I like GPE over OPIE, I like the X11 and Gnome stile and I prefair the users managment it gots (though some people may find it anoying). But thats my personal opinion. On the other hand I couldn't find a decent media player for GPE and as I use my zaurus for playing mp3 this is mandatory.

Wich are the pros and cons you can find on each one (GPE OPIE)?

Is there a media player (not command line) for qpe? Will there be?

Nope, no GUI sorry. The installed software base is rather large compared to vanilla OZ but there is no list yet.
