Wellenreiter Woes
« on: June 28, 2006, 02:57:13 am »
after my dismal lack of success with kismet i have tried wellenreiter-i have installed the following on my c1000-libopie2_1.8.2-20031220_arm.ipk, libcopie1_1.1.0-20031220_arm.ipk,libpcap0_0.7.2-20031220_arm.ipk,opie-wellenreiter_1.0.2.1-20031220_arm.ipk.Everything
looked fine- I held down my stylus on the wellenreiter icon and checked the box"start as root"-I confogured my planex card to the configuaration as suggested by Hd Luc on his excellent zaurus page. However when I come to run I keep getting the message "not installed as root". I can start a scan but no information appears! I got the files from Hd's archive but although he refers to the c3000
and to cacko , I am assuming that that should work on the c1000? but maybe not.....i would appreciate some help thanks michael miller

From the little information you provide it looks like you don't have the Name and Driver fields set up properly in the configuration.

I have a question regarding configuring wellenreiter.  I am not able to tell it to scan on a certain channel.  The settings are greyed out.  So far the only way I can scan is by channel hopping.  Does anyone know why it can't be changed?
