Daylight Savings (bst) - Not Respected?
« on: August 30, 2006, 03:37:49 pm »
I'm using a Collie, latest Hentges ROM, in the UK.

I've set the timezone to London, which at present is one hour ahead of GMT (British Summer Time - equiv of Daylight Savings Time in the US).   As soon as there is a time update from any ntp server, the time reverts to GMT.

There must be a setting somewhere I'm missing!   Anyone able to help?

(As a workround I've set the ntp server to an invalid one for the moment).

Is this GPE or Opie? Iirc, in both there's a tick box on the time setting applet to switch to "daylight savings time" ("British Summer Time" for those who speak English  )

Opie (just changed my sig to reflect that!)

Settings -> Date/Time doesn't seem to have any such box - am I missing it somehow?
