System Memory
« on: November 14, 2006, 04:34:25 pm »
My system info under storage shows the system memory graph in red with most days 8MB free memory. I am just wondering if that is normal or if I have some redundant stuff remaining on the flash. My harddrive is partitioned as suggested in OZ with /140MB, /home 24MB, and /media/hdd 3730MB. Thanks.

Most of the memory is in uses by linux' cache system, which gets freed when needed.

Thanks, so far I am happy with OZ and will be sure to send in a donation. Thanks again.
