Usb Cam In Zaurus
« on: February 22, 2008, 07:32:30 pm »
Hello,

Not sure if there anything out there like this, but I'm looking for:
-digital CMOS camera QVGA or VGA the size that you would find in a mobile phone
-has USB interface
-has linux USB drivers

I'm OK ripping one apart if the guts of it are what I need, but just the raw camera would probably be best.

sparkfun have these sorts of modules, as I recall from the pocketpenguin vapourware device. I just checked, none have USB-alike interface, so you'd have to come up with an I2C interface somehow.

it's a good idea, I've added it to my idea for a docking bay for the zaurus!
