hi,
has anyone gotten these to work on a sharp rom? (zynergy) for sl-5600?
It comes back not in gzip format. Im imagined that it is packaged differently even though its still an ipk ...

tried both zethereal 0.9 gz and zethereal 1.0_arm.ipk and nemesis 1.32.5

Read a thread on using ar -x but got invalid token.. It seems perhaps the ipks are packaged differently if they were going to be used for oz?

Has anyone gotten these ipks to work using a sharp rom?

i guess i could try to compile on a regular linux system and tar it up so that the zaurus may be able to read it?

Give me a link to the files and I\'ll check them for you.

For the zethereal-0.9.gz file you should just be able to run:

$ gunzip zethereal-0.9.gz

and you\'ll get the executable.

I\'m trying to get zethereal-1.0-arm working on an 860 using cacko qt. Running from the Applications tab, it displays \"Please wait...\" then exits. If I uncheck the magnify screen, nothing besides the hour glass is displayed.

Running from the console, I simply get \"Display size = 480x640\". I resolved all the library issues, but now I don\'t know what to do since it isn\'t giving any errors. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Haven\'t tried it as of yet but here\'s a link to look at, there\'s an ipk 1.2 version with some recent notes on install. http://tux.ius.edu/zaurus/zethereal/

Thanks, I\'ll give it a try sometime tomorrow. The install notes just look like they clear up the library problem, but maybe some of the compat stuff will help.

I tried installing glib1.2, and zethereal-1.0 still does not run (no error messages). I tried zethereal-0.9, and it seems to work ok.

I found zethereal-0.9 and the library libglib_1.2.0_arm.ipk. Both installed fine on my C860 with the Cacko ROM. When I run zethereal from Konsole I don\'t get any errors as it starts up. I can\'t seem to capture anything, however. When I exit zethereal back to Konsole I see that it says it is capturing on device=NUL, which doesn\'t sound good. Any suggestions to get I working? I have Kismet, Wellenreiter, and Nmap all working fine, but I am stuck on zethereal. I would greatly appreciate any help from someone who got it to work. Thanks.
