5600 IR Mobile phone Dialing
« on: April 11, 2004, 06:48:54 am »
I can not get my 5600 to dial via either my Ericisson T10s or T68i phone using IR.  The IR works with the Phone book and the phones work with my Erisson MC218 PDA.  If have tried different speeds with and wthout hardware flow control.

Any more options?

The Zaurus seems to have particular problem establishing IrDA connections to Sony Ericsson phones. Lots of people have reported problems, with no solution. You could search the forums to see more about these other reports.

Thanks for the info.  I have seen 1 or 2 who claim to have got it working, but they do not say whch zaurus model.

Do you happen to know if Bluetooth or cable connections work?

Yes Bluetooth works, although you have to be careful about which bluetooth card to get. Look at the Bluetooth compatibility page for more: http://www.zaurususergroup.com/modules.php...oothCardSupport
