Socket WiFi CF Card + Kismet... Does it work?

It\'s an intersil prism derived chipset needing the firmware to be downloaded on power-on. Which is why hostap and wlan-ng don\'t work (yet). You need Pavel Roskin\'s spectrum_cs (based and using the orinoco and hermes lower layers).

No idea about kismet, but once you installed the driver, Wellenreiter II works fine with it.
Cheers,

Yes it works.

socket lowpower wifi + stock sharp rom (on a sl-c750) + new cross-compiled drivers for socket with monitor patch

=] so, all you need is get latest drivers + monitor patch and croos-compile and pre-load the module before inserting the card.

Hope that helps.

sl-c750, archos av580, socket cf [bt, wifi, modem], noname cf lan, audiovox rtm800 gsm-gprs cf, rom: sharp -> oz3.5.3 -> cacko -> oz3.5.4.1
