I just got my 6000L from Amazon. Unfortunately, I'm having problems charging the unit for the first time. I've followed the instructions from the start-up guide -- I've made sure that the switch on the back is in the on position, the battery replacement switches are in the locked positions -- but it doesn't seem to be charging. The charging indicatior light does not come on when I press the record, start and reset switches. A very faint red light does appear in the IR indicator when I press the reset switch with the stylus, but that's the only indication of life I can get from the unit.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
