Pictures of a 6000 disassembled
« on: May 09, 2004, 01:00:55 pm »
http://www.depega.net/Lab05_SL6000.htm

It\'s in Japanese, but translation is sort of understandable, and there are lots of pictures.

Apparently, there are some empty sockets where more memory could be soldered onto, it says 256 megs might be possible!  I wonder if someone can figure out where the bluetooth module is supposed to go.  I haven\'t given up hope yet.

Cool pics.  Now I\'d like to see pics of the same unit working after reassembled

He is much braver than I am.

When you repost something 8 days later, it\'d be great if you could also give a link to my original post - http://externe.net/zaurus/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1268 - which even included a link to the excite.co.jp\'s translation...

You sound a little annoyed.  If you wanted to share this information with us, why not post it here 8 days earlier?  You didn\'t, so DrWowe did.  It\'s not like you are the original source of this information and deserve credit for presenting this valuable link to the zaurus community.

Thank you Doc

] You sound a little annoyed.

I am when no credit or whatever is given. Free software world now - 1 giver, many leechers.

May sound nothing to you, but when you are spending 1 hours to find original/cool stuff from japanese sites which ends up being copied without any reference, you do resent it.

You must be kidding.  \"Credit\" for posting a frigging link to some other site?
I agree with what CoreyC said.

This will be my last post on this topic.
