Problem flashing back OZ
« on: June 06, 2004, 04:33:45 pm »
I am trying to reinstall OZ 3.3.6-pre1 on my Zaurus C860 because I am having problems now with my Wireless card and might have screwed up something when trying to install some bluetooth drivers.

When flashing back OZ it doesn\'t seem to completely reinstall everything. I can still see data from my previous session. As my wireless is still not working I am wondering if that might be a reason. BTW dmesg gives me that error:

wlan0: hfa384x_cmd: interrupted: err=-100
wlan0: hfa384x_get_rid: CMDMODE_ACCESS failed (res=-110, rid=fd43, len=6)
wlan0: hfa384x_cmd: entry still in list? (entry=c3e57b60, type=0, res=-1)
wlan0: hfa384x_cmd: cmd reg was busy for 5000 usec
wlan0: hfa384x_cmd_issue: timeout - reg=0x9841

TIA

Pascal

After flashing a new rom you have do the erase to get rid of the old info - especially if you change roms

Go to the flash menu and choose erase/format  to clear the user flash ram
