THE PROBLEM
My Z now needs to be rebooted after every time it goes into Suspend mode. When it comes out of Suspend the Files area shows no devices, not even Internal Storage, and the apps do not launch, presumably because they can\'t find their files. The menu screens are responsive so the unit is not frozen. The solution is to turn the switch on the back to \"Replace Battery\", then turn it to \"Normal Operation\", then press \"On/Off\" to reboot. This gets me going until the next Suspend.
QUESTION
Has anyone seen similar behavior?
Any suggestions other than the obvious \"Start all over with a blank Z for the Nth time?\"
I just found ZUC after losing Zaurus.com. Thank you for your help.
THE HISTORY
I recently purchased a Viking 512MB SD card for my SL-5500. My motivation was I was annoyed at losing everything whenever the battery ran low.
I want to take full advantage of RAM so I installed Crow/Cacko ROM.
All seemed to be well.
I bought a Zonet ZCF1100 wireless card which installed easily. Again no problems. The WiFi card would periodically not eject properly but a re-boot would clear that up. Kismet and the Kismet GUI worked fine.
Since I suddenly had lots of \"disk\" space I loaded up with apps, most of which seem to work fine. The chief exception was lprng.
