Doom What am I missing?

I am trying to use FreeDoom. Does anyone know where the heck it puts it wad? It seems not in the right place since when I try to run prBoom from the cmd line, it says it can find the iwad and when I ls *.wad, there is none. Help.

Try /opt/QtPalmtop/share/games/doom

That is where I keep my wad file but I am using the wad from the full game.
