Cacko ROM for 5500

what version of qtopia does this have -]  5500 - Advanced Flash ROM update 3.10 (kernel 2.4.18)  , can I use it without a MMC or SD., can Install applications to CF card. thanks

If you're talking about SL-5500 device than it's the same as Sharp ROM except your /home is on SD.

cheers for replying, if that is the only change then for me I don't see any benefits of using cacko over sharp.

Yes, that's true for 5500 ROM. BUT, there are a couple of experimental Cacko Hybrid ROMs that you may want to check out before you decide. Even if you stay with default Sharp ROM, I suggest to upgrade the kernel - it provides a few benifits.

Hybrid as in the Cacko/Crow rom?  Might give that a go then.  Many thanks

yes, read their description to find out what's the difference form default ROM.
