Panasonic SD 256MB
« on: September 09, 2004, 12:58:58 pm »
Hello

On ebay there is a seller named tech_google offering Panasonic SD 256MB cards at 24.99$ plus 19.99$ shipping (worldwide). It seems to me like a good price (especially since it is a Panasonic card).
I just bought one, I 'll have more info when I receive it.

They were just going for something like $25 (shipped)  after rebate at some store (the deal is over).

Personally I would skip that deal (becuase shipping is insane at $20 when it will cost no more than $1 in USA and $5 worldwide) and buy the KINGMAX 1GB for $110 shipped from newegg.com   (see my other post).

But on the flip side, since you alreaqdy bought it, Panansonic makes what is widely considered the fastest and best quality cards, so although you overpaid a bit, you are getting a very nice (and fast) card.

I agree that the shipping is insane. Unfortunately here in Greece we are used to pay these
amounts for shipping (when ordering from US) :-(. Most companies will not even ship to
Greece. And the prices here are not so good (I bought my Lexar SD 256MB card for
60 euros, two months ago that was the best price in Greece [now it's ~50]... believe me I searched everywhere).

Thanks for giving me a glimpse of the big picture :-)
