OZ is certainly not old, it's far snazzier than the Sharp ROM. It's also pretty stable (I've not had to reboot my 5500 in a long long time).

Anyway, you've nothing to lose, it doesn't do any damage to flash from time to time (unless you plan on giving your Z to your great-great-great-grandchildren that is ;-)

I said that Sharp was aged rather that OZ.  I like the look of OZ though to be honest for a newbie its a no go,  been trying to use OZ as a stable rom for a long time and though it is great in theory, it just lacks that stability I need for my PDA.  I put on TKC alpha 3 last night, very nice.

If you're happy with TKC, then great!

I migrated up from a Palm, and use the Z mainly for PIM.

I suggest Sharp's 3.13 ROM.  The PIM works pretty good, but not quits as intuitive as the palm.
