Where to buy?

I\'m after a pair of SL-5500s, a pair of serial cables and a pair of WiFi CF cards for a university project. (My own Z is the prototype, but I won\'t let them take it apart which they need to do for the next stage )

Are they still available anywhere over here? Tried expansys and they say they won\'t be getting the recon ones they list on their site as for sale :

Yikes. Under a month ago those two sites in the FAQ had hundreds of refurbished units in stock. Apart from eBay I guess there\'s nowhere to get a SL-5500 in the UK now

I\'d really like to get a C760 myself from http://www.shirtpocket.co.uk and relatively speaking their prices are quite reasonable, but still higher than my funds allow

Thanks for the tigerdirect link guys, I have sent them an email to see if they will ship to the UK.. assuming they have any. Supplies on eBay seem limited too (

I\'m looking at the C750 for myself (prefer black to white heh) and I\'m just being held back by concerns about how well my existing apps will run (qpe-gaim, opera, qplot), and if there are decent ROMs for it. FWIW shirtpocket seem pretty competent - I sent them an email about some hardware issues and rom stuff and their reply was fast and what I was after.

Bought an 860 recently from shirtpocket and no problems - took about a week to arrive, may be a bit less.

If you check http://www.expansys.com they have 5500s for £218.21, no mention of them being reconditioned.
