Well, I guess the problem is that the KANJIDIC file is not that easy to parse with plain Perl.  KANJIDIC2 which is in XML format would be much easier but I haven't been using an XML parser in a while.  Finally, I don't have much time at the moment.  Sorry...

Conversion of ENAMDICT was pretty straighforward as I just had to use the script for EDICT.
Ok, I just finished a simple conversion.  As it's my first shot it might not be working correctly, though.  Download (about 1.2MB) at your own risk :-)

Without romaji is fine with me, with nothing but romaji on the other hand is pretty useless, don't you agree? Romaji shouldn't be used anyway.

What about sending it to us over msn?

Edit: If you have the time, do you think you could get kanjidic compiled without all the text encoding codes? They're kind of in the way in zten...
