basic ROM flash proceedure

Hi all -

Can some one point me in the direction of a HOWTO/FAQ on how to flash a Japanese SL-C860 with a different ROM in order to get English menus?  I\'ve looked thru this site but couldn\'t see anything.  I haven\'t done this before so would like to see a HOWTO (or FAQ) before proceeding.
