userland source code?
« on: November 02, 2004, 11:24:24 pm »
I've been searching for several hours now but I can't seem to find the source code to one of the apps on my 5600.  Maybe it's silly of me to just assume that it's open source.  So the question is does anyone know if and where userland apps for the 5600 can be found.

Specifically I'm looking for the code to the "security" app found in /home/QtPalmtop/bin.  Basically I want to change the keypad that comes up on boot.

Thanks,
Jimi

You'd have to say what ROM you're using

Qtopia/Sharp is closed source.

I'm using Zynergy; which to my understanding is half sharp rom and half custom.  However, I believe the "security" app in question is part of the sharp rom, and from what you've said that means it's closed source.

Hmm....I'll have to write my own from scratch then
