Does Opie Mail Work In Oz 3.5.2?

Sorry if this it OT. I've checked out a couple of other opiemail related threads and none of them seemed to (sucessfully) address this issue. Has anyone got opie mail to work in OZ 3.5.2 on the 6000L?  ipkg reports opie-mail and all dependencies installed. When I try to launch opie mail, I get an error dialog that says "Could not locate application opiemail." If I try to launch opie mail from the terminal it looks like this:

Clearly *something* ain't in the right place. Any advice?

Look inside the .desktop file and see what the binary is called (the .desktop file is a plain text file), then try to run that binary, rather than the .desktop file.
