Couldn't decide if this was OZ-specific or 6000 specific, but since the problem probably lies in software, I decided to post here.
I finally got my USB host cable working, plugged in my Z6K, and typed away...
...only to discover that while letters worked, symbols are completely borked, and the numpad in "numbers" mode spits out symbols.
Obviously that's not preferred. Even more so, I'd like to remap the keyboard to Dvorak. But I'm not clear on how keymaps work under OZ/Opie.
Any suggestions? The USB host was one of the things drawing me to the Z6K, so I really want it to work...
