How To Set My Wifi Card Type
« on: December 18, 2004, 03:39:26 pm »
Hi all. How can I tell whether OZ is using my wifi card properly? The eject card button reports it as a DLINK DCF660, while cardctl finds it properly:
Code: [Select]
Socket 0:
  product info: " ", "SMC2642W 11Mbps Wireless CF Card", ""
  manfid: 0xd601, 0x0005
  function: 6 (network)
Socket 1:
  no product info available
How do I let OZ know about the card? I found the instructions under the howto section (under other), but the /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf doesn't even exist yet, so are these instruction up-to-date?

thanks
GROG!
