I'm also newbie but as far as I know and done, you can choose whether to NAND Flash from/to CF or SD memory card.

You need a bigger card, 128MB isn't enough. My NAND backup is 132 Mb big, keep in mind that not only the flash memory content is saved but also some other information.

Good luck, it isn't so difficult, Trisoft has some very good manual in his web.

Oneiros,

yes, the card type doesn't matter. The Zaurus "looks" for
a CF or SD card.

But the card must be FAT formatted. Try it by making a
NAND-backup on your card. If you can backup, you should
also be able to restore from this card.

We don't use SD cards for NAND operations, but the Zauris
are a bit fussy with CF cards. Some cards work perfectly
under normal conditions, but won't work in the NAND
restore process. It's possible that this will also happen if
you use an SD card.

So don't worry if it won't work. In this case simply try
another card.

@Quino: Thanks for the compliment about our manuals

If you have the CF card in the slot when attempting to do a NAND backup it will try to use that first.

If you want to use SD make sure the CF card is not in the zaurus

Thanks I tried and it worked just well. At the beginning it wouldn't recognize the sd card but it was because the sd was formatted in FAT32 instead of FAT.
Anyway thank you all again.
