Using The Sl6000 As A Usb Key
« on: January 26, 2005, 05:42:43 pm »
Hello

As promised I posted everything on:
http://www.externe.net/zaurus/modules.php?...order=0&thold=0

Note: you will need Guylhem's "fast" kernel :-) Don't forget to create /etc/modules as explained here or you may have SD/Wifi problems.

Thanks - glad to help!

My suggestion: put on this usb exported volume the usbnet drivers, so when you find a new Windows machine. you just install the driver and you can access the zaurus in a normal way.

Did you consider porting USB Storage for Zaurus 5500?

http://my-zaurus.narod.ru/usbstorage.html

It include a simple but handy application and hotplug scripts to switch betwean networking/storage modes.

Interesting. I didn't - I can't remember of ever seeing that application. Quite cool. I'll try to port it.
