Network Adapter Gone! :(
« on: February 02, 2005, 05:59:08 pm »
Hellow,

When I had the early sharp Roms, I could set up a network connection through USB and specify an IP address. The  Z had an NDIS network driver which I could used to share an internet connection and thus get to the net through the cradle. But after the ROM update, no longer does it work. My Z is alone..
Is this meant to not work?

Cheers
G

There are different WinXP USB drivers for the 2.xx and 3.xx ROMs.

Install the new drivers and it should work.

I have and it work now.. cheers! Didnt realise you had to change the manager to say "USB-TCP/IP" I thought you could just install it seperately.

Many thanks.
