Oz Ready For Casual User?

I want to use OZ.  It's a Good Thing, I'm sure...   BUT...

Is there a clear cut way to transition PIM data to the packaged OZ PIM programs?

Do these OZ / (Opie, whatever) PIMS sync with my XP Outlook just like the Sharp stuff did?

Will it run Hancom Word / Sheet, Opera, Jeode?

...and little or no tinkering required, "It Just Works".  I love tinkering as much as the next guy, but will wait longer for OZ to evolve if it looks like too much.

If OZ updates, do I have to get new answers to all the above questions?  Can an OZ installation update itself (like Debian) or will updates be issued as ROM images?

Is there a website that tracks progress toward these kinds of questions?

I'm not asking for how-to's on all this, just a status report.

from what i've seen, a 5500 is your best bet for "out of the box" use of OZ.  still, it is called unstable for a good reason. You sound like you will be happier on sharp or cacko.

Though to defend OZ I have seen it do some really great stuff on 5500's
