How Do You Encode Wide Screen Dvds For The Z?

Hi.  got a 5600 and i got the mencoder options down (vbitrate=112 -ofps 15 seems to work ok) for 4:3 dvds but how do i encoded widescreen or 16x9 so the screen doesnt look squashed?  any help is appreciated.

actually, I use dvd::rip.  use negative adjustments in the vertical on the resize screen (you'll see it if you use dvdrip) to keep your aspect ratios really close, then just transcode.

put the following in ~/.mplayer/config
