Not Able To Install Xine Plugin
« on: April 01, 2005, 07:54:54 am »
I did install openzaurus ROM 3.5.2 with opie on my SL-6000L 2 days ago. I am slowly adding some new software.

I am just installin opie-mediaplaye2, I did find out that it is need quite a lot of dependencies, so I am installing them.

BUT with libxine-plugin-inp-file_1.0.0-rc7-r0_arm.ipk I have problem, I am not able to write all output but this is few lines from it:

Code: [Select]
...
cleanup_temporary_file: pkg=libxine.........
Failed.
Configuring unpacked packages
...
...
An error ocurred, return value 1.

I did check intalation, the plugin is there I mean that file .so but PACKAGE is not installed and I am not able to continue to install opie-mediaplayer2

I did download package again but same problem.

what should I do ?

We need to see the part of the error before the bit you pasted.

I don't know why it failed to begin with, but it looks like it's unwilling to overwrite what was left over from last time.

Try it again and use the -force-overwrite switch.
