Can I Use Rom 3.13 And Old Format Pims?
« on: April 12, 2005, 03:00:26 am »
I am interested in getting all the latest advancements in ROM 3.13, but using apps compatible with the xml format (TKC Apps). Can I use the ROM with the TKC apps and use the old intellisync to syncronize? (the one that came with rom 2.38?)

Regards,

Otto

You can try it. I know that the zaurus has a file on it somewhere that does a check to make sure you're using the correct sync software. Search the OZ threads for this as it uses the XML format for its PIM, and some users have had to edit the file.

**edit**
here is the step to force OZ to use the 3.10 intellisync. Presumably all you would need to do is replace 3.10 with the versoin for the older intellisync.
