I have Opie 1.1.7 and OZ 3.5.2 on an SL-6000L.
Some applications seem to work when installed to CF, but others do not. Why is this? Is there something specific about the apps that requires the internal memory?

When you say work (or rather, for the ones which don't work) what happens?
Do the icons not show up (in which case make sure you've run 'ipkg-link mount /media/cf') or is there some other problem?
