Newbie ? - restore original rom?

I am curious about trying out OpenZaurus and OPIE, but I am nervous that if I don\'t like it for some odd reason, I will never be able to get the Sharp ROM back.  Is this the case?  If not what steps do I have to take to ensure that I can get my Sharp ROM back on my Z 5600.

Just download the newest ROM from http://www.myzaurus.com/ . When you extract the software package, you browse to (as an example) C:5500v31uupdaterom  or wherever you extracted it. In any case, it will be in the updaterom folder. Look for a file called Ospack. That file is your retail ROM. If you want to flash back, just put that file on your CF card and follow normal procedure. Remember, if you have your current retail ROm setup in a way you like, remember to back it up! While experimenting with other roms, I had mine set up to work with my wireless network and a few contacts listed. It\'s nice not to have to do all that over again.
