Proxy Settings On Opera?
« on: May 03, 2005, 12:07:23 pm »
I have been using Opera 7.55.6079 (I believe from the IBM Multipack), and installed privoxy from the Debian archives, an eventual step in getting tor anonymizer to run. All worked, had to make a slight change to the startup for privoxy. However, when I opened opera's prefs dialog, I found that unlike desktop browsers, there was nowhere to set the proxies or in/out port. Is there a way to force this setting for opera?

Thanks,

Nope, not in the browser itself. Which ROM are you using? You could check the network settings dialog. If I recall, there is an option for a proxy in there.

Mike.

Edit: Or you could ignore my question ... I just read your signature, duh. Network settings might be the place to look anyway.
