I'm not sure about this, I would do a general search about synchronising Sharp ROMs with Qtopia Deskop.

The ROM is based on Sharp ROM with Sharp DTM and tries to retain all sychronisation compatibility with the standard Sharp ROM. I have tested Sync with intellisync using USB  IO, USB Network and WLAN, they all work fine.

So, if there's a version of Qtopia Desktop that will sync with Sharp ROMs with DTM then it should work fine.

I think, however, that Qtopia Desktop is aimed at sychronising the Qtopia Standard apps and not the Sharp ones. Sharp changed the database to DTM and the synchronisation software I think sometime around the time that the 5600 was release. This means that you can't sync things like OZ with the latest Sharp apps because OZ goes with Qtopia compatibiilty rather than Sharp compatibility and you need the latest versions of IntelliSync to sync with the latest versions of office (I think). This somewhat hog ties you to the Sharp apps or KDEPIM.
