"restore Failed" Message, But It Doesn't Seem To!
« on: May 20, 2005, 09:14:18 am »
Hi,

I'm trying to restore a backup of my SL-C3000 I made to the SD card. When I restore it, the progress bar gets to about 15% and I get an error dialog "Restore Failed!". After the device reboots, the restore has apparently worked - anything I delete/uninstall comes back.

As an experiment, I then added data to the backup tarball - my documents and music files from the /hdd3 partition that normally wouldn't get restored/backed up. On restoring this new larger backup, I get the same error, yet all of my documents are restored even if I wipe them from Documents first.

Anyone had this?
Know how I can get rid of the error?

Cheers

Rob
