Irk Versus Irk-belkin
« on: May 24, 2005, 05:30:41 pm »
Hi . . .

I have a belkin ir keyboard which I am trying to get to work in oz3.53/opie on both a 5600 and cl860. The irk-belkin ipkg depends on lirc which I couldn't find in the feed (if it exists could someone point me to the right directory). It doesn't work with a force-depends.

irk doesn't have this dependency, but my understanding was that it didn't include belkin support.

Any advice on getting the belkin ir keyboard working with oz3.5.3/opie?

opie dies on start after installing irk-belkin?

if yes then copy /opt/QtPalmtop/etc/skel/IRK.conf to /home/root/Settings/ and start opie again.

if that also won't help then I cannot help more (cannot test w/o hardware).
