I just installed debian following meanie's description.
Works nicely.
But I ask myself, why not install debian directly into the program area?
So far it uses 250Mb.
Even with X/Qt and several other stuff I have still 300Mb free in the program area
(and it could be enlarged making hdd3 smaller).
This would be the smoothest possible.
Probably some adaptations would be necessary.
But before thinking further about it:
Is there a reason why nobody has done it so far?
Is it just work or is there a big hurdle I don't see?
