I have this strange(?) problem. Some libs I install causes Qtopia apps to stop working. Unrelated apps. For instance, if I install libmad or libtiff, then tabconf (Tab Settings) and Apperance and a bunch of other seeminly unrelated apps stop working. If I run them from the prompt they return (after a long time of nothing):
qeclient_sendcommand(): failed to connect() (after 20 sec wait)!
Removing the lib solves things, but I need libmad at least.
Any ideas?
I'm using an old C700 which is running Sharp ROM (as Cacko won't run the prism3 card).. 1.20J I think it is. The libs are from
www.zaurususergroup.com/feed/ or simmilar.
