« on: December 30, 2003, 11:58:40 am »
http://www.cacko.biz/test321/slc7x0-Qtopia...-2131301203.zip

New Qtopia ROM for 700/750/760/860:

NEW Features:
USB drive support
WhatsuponZ (process manager)
Kino2 preinstalled inside :-)
Opera 7
In fonts added europian fonts table (ISO8859-2), now documents and web sites showing correctly in Office/Opera.
OpenSSH server/client, ftp/telnet disabled by reason of security
Bluetooth drivers and PPP/PAN plugins (tested only with one Pretec BT CF)

Size of ROM 25 MB (standart :-) ), so you will have 96 MB on internal storage for 760/860.

Instruction for installation similar X11 ROM:
http://www.cacko.biz/index.php?showid=2&menuid=1

Kernels included in ROM distribution.

For ROM source tarball and builder ask me , hehe

Happy New Year!

Hi Shashz

It\'s great to see you have a new x11 release.
A quick question - did you manage to get wireless Prism2 / Prism2.5(Socket-Spectrum or Orinoco drivers in there)?

I loved your last release but really needed wireless communication to use it.

Have a great new year.

5000d hey  - I still have my original , it\'s the 10th ever sold in the UK, but it\'s sadly dead - well-dead and for sure not worth paying for a fix.

I did send it back once before and have the power stuff replaced (with a completely unconvincing \"solder accross the tracks\" justification) I knew it wasn\'t that \'cause I\'d obviously had a good runnage in the mean time.

Good luck to you nilch

Did you try sackz\'s x11 on it?

Happy New Year

0240311203.zip feels like it runs faster than 1.18 did.

Really nice!

This is a slick ROM, but I find that Opera hangs up after loading a couple of web pages on my C700.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Netfront works fine, however.

The wifi support works fine for DHCP on my Netgear CF Card.

As much as I like X-11 I will keep this one loaded until X can be speeded up a bit.

It is significantly slower than version 118 on my C700. Why?
