I know this is a Jeode issue but please be gentle if you think that this post is in the wrong thread forum.

I have installed Jeode for oz3 and quasar and primtest run fine.

I've always really liked jsolun, it seems to be the most useful of the astronomical programs for the z.

I've installed the latest version through elsi, and entering run_jsolun in console produces a loop over and over again of

"/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/run_jsolun
ln: /tmp/QtEmbedded-root/QtEmbedded-0; no such or direceory"

This seems a little more complicated than the usual symlinking issues.

Any help, rtfm etc. gratefully recieved as always.

Thanks,

Chas

It doesn't matter about the above but is anybody managing to use this on oz?
It really was one of my favourite programs.

for the most part, oz uses only oz feed things.

I knew that, but compat-libs allows us to run other things such as the otr player,
I Ching, Nethack etc. and Jeode of course.  So I would like to try to get this working.

Thanks Chas

I couldn't actually get jeode working - it was moaning about something (and I have used the compat-libs, don't worry  ).

I'd be tempted to contact the author to ask him what it's trying to do, and whether that output is the real error. It's a bit difficult when we don't have the source for the app.
