Connecting to the network using irda is simple
zaurus irda

*99# ----this is my digital number my phone company (old at&t now cingular) provided for irda access. I have unlimited access. call them for your digital access and ask them for your mb per month availability and cost.
now activate your irda port of the phone (i have a siemens s56)
on your zaurus, you created irda-ppp network connection with these values
no username or password
autodetect servers
no init commands
no hardware control (c1000 does not have this so its fine)
now hit connect and it takes a bit. make sure your irda are aligned and keep it aligned to keep connection or it will die. Bluetooth is setup basically the same way as well.
