Kismet Problems On 5600
« on: September 30, 2005, 08:48:14 pm »
Trying to get Kismet working  on my SL5600. I have tried different ipks along with kismet-qt front end.  I keep getting the the error-Can not connect to server
I'm using a Ambicom WL1100C, dont know if its compatable with Kismet.
If anyone hase a working ipk that I could download or instructions on how to get it working I would appreciate it.
I'm Clueless when it comes to working with the terminal, so if you have terminal instructions pretend you are teaching a 3 year old how to do it.
Thanks

You're probably missing a lib which kismet-server requires.

Try running kismet-server from the command line and see what the error is.

Do you have a terminal installed? If not, I'm not sure where the download link is I'm afraid, but it should be in the ZUG downloads (linked from www.oesf.org).

Then just type kismet-server on the command line and see what happens.
