For How Long Should I Charge My 3100?
« on: September 26, 2005, 12:56:26 pm »
sorry if this seems pretty obvious to u guys, but i just bought a new 3100, and was wondering - for how long should i charge the battery for the initial charge? I know handphones, for eg., have a recommended "initial charge timing" (like say, 10, or 12 hours), but what about the 3100?

I've searched google, but havent really come up with any useful info. The Unofficial Zaurus FAQ does have a "Batteries and Charging" section (https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Batteries_and_Charging), but that entry mentioning 24hours is i believe for the 5500, or 5600???

thanks,

Just wait for the charge light to switch off. It took in my case about 8 hours...
