Thanks, this worked a treat on my 760.
I tried installing the xqt package to main memory using "add/remove" and it complained that ipkg returned an error...
However, X did work, but xlauncher was not installed properly which suggests something was wrong.
I edited the install script to install to native EXT2 (ie not use loopback), then installed to /mnt/card/debroot. All worked well.
I did have two warnings to do with S50mnt, but that's only needed if you're using loopback (I think - it looked that way from checking the logs)
xlauncher still didn't work, because the xqt package hadn't installed correctly, so I went to konsole, su'd, and ran ipkg install on the xqt package. That completed successfully...
...and debian works!
Firefox takes a long time to start, but start it does . Now going to be installing office .
