Simple Zaurus Music Player Question
« on: October 04, 2005, 06:05:09 pm »
i'm trying to assign pictures to my files, and there's a place to select whether or not you want to assign that picture to all songs by that artist, which is what i'm trying to do.  no matter what i select, the other songs by that artist don't have that picture.  if anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it. thanks.

Is this using Opie-mediaplayer2? Or GXine? or something else?

You don't say which version of OZ you're running...

Yeah, I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt though

I take it all back then.

No, I've never tried attaching pictures to mp3s (in fact I'm running GPE atm so I can't even have a look).

Any other Opie users have any ideas? Otherwise you might try asking in #opie or on the mailing list.

not actually attaching the picture to the mp3, just associating it to it through the player.  like when u play the song, the picture that i associate it with comes up.  it's not a real technical question, just plain and simple b/c i don't know much about this thing.

when you go to file-->info-->effect image, it gives u the option of associating a picture with that artist, but i can't get it to associate it with the artist, just that one song.  i was just wonderin if anyone knew off the top of their head how to fix it
